We stayed here several times but this time the mattress was not comfortable and we both rolled into the middle of the bed!

Rien de Spécial

It is an iconic historical hotel with a sea view in the middle of beautiful Collioure. Loved the quaint atmosphere of the staircase, the corridors and the bar, that are full of paintings. They exude the history of friendship, creativity, and melancholic memories of so many artists who once visited, lived and stayed at Les templiers. Very original.

Because of the location and the age of the hotel with no parking, the accessibility by car is an issue. It is not suitable for physically handicapped people nor for senior citizens with mobility issues.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent air con, fab art, good value for money. I’ve stayed at the Templiers a number of times and you know what you’re getting. The rooms are simple but still have character (i.e. they aren’t like a hostel) and the location is unbeatable.

If you’re there when one of the many parties/festivals that they have in Collioure is on, request a quiet / back room. I’ve never had an issue (the double glazing and shutters are pretty effective) but I have had friends stay in front facing rooms when there’s been something on and it’s been a bit loud! (But I believe you get a sea view)
