Charming country hotel with helpful staff combined for an enjoyable stay for us.

Perhaps the location outside of the two main towns near balmoral means ideally a car is required rather than walk into the nearest town.

Nice, authentic accommodations. We stayed for one night and had a great time. The hostess was kind and friendly. The breakfasts are cold but perfectly adequate—we really enjoyed them. For us, the rooms were more of an experience, and the price-quality ratio was just right.
