Lovely clean and comfortable room. It was so peaceful so had the best 2 nights sleep. Super friendly proprietors.

la situation calme et au centre. petit parking pour se garer juste en face. la décoration, le personnel, le restaurant, le bar avec ses whiskies.

The people who run it were friendly, excellent and very accommodative. It is well known in the town and is a stone throw from the famous "Bow & Fiddle Rock" .

The room I booked was advertised as "Sea View". But it was merely out of a single window, and just the horizon was visible. It is not at the shore. It is in the town and has a couple of streets before you can get to the street. You can see the sea but that's like watching out of an aeroplane.

Room was very fresh and clean, nice shower, exceptionally comfy bed and great nights sleep, sea view from the room, tea/coffee facilities, apparently we were in one of the few rooms still to be upgraded, however we couldn't fault it, was nice as it was. Mattress had just been renewed and it was so comfy we have just bought the same one at home!!! Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of cereal, pastries etc (everything you would want) to help yourself to and also very quick service with the cooked breakfast and tea and coffees, Cooked food was great and just the right amount. 4 of us all enjoyed our stay and also enjoyed the local area, were visiting family in Buckie and this was just a 10 minute drive/taxi (which hotel arranged for us. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

Historical places in the small village, we stayed one night as a transferring night. In the village the hotel is the restaurant and the pub also! Great food and people.

As an advice to improve I suggest to make the breakfast as nice as the dinner 😚

We had soms issues with the shower having tempermental flow and temperature
