Friendly staff. Clean Comfy room and bed with balcony overlooking the river. Good food and menu choices

Absolutely loved are stay the room was gorgeous the staff were fantastic the food was great the location was amazing

Located between the river and canal, the hotel is surrounded by beauty.

The location is stunning and fantastic breakfast

I bit picky but the bath towels really small and the bar closed really early

Perfect setting by the river and canal, great location for walks and close enough to town centre to walk. Lovely setting for a drink overlooking the river. Breakfast was nice... very relaxed atmosphere.

No air-conditioning apparently due to it being a listed building. Slightly awkward to drive up the towpath to the hotel - if you're not a confident driver. It got very busy so queues at the bar and for breakfast were a bit lengthy (but worth the wait to sit on the veranda overlooking the river). We were unlucky to have noisy neighbours during the night and the oddly connecting doors (obvs locked) did not help block their noise out.
