Comfortable room, freshly cooked breakfast and great food in general, Friendly helpful staff and Land Lady. Thoroughly recommended. Plenty of parking for the stay to boot.

We were welcomed by friendly efficient staff when we checked in at the bar on arrival. Seven of us had travelled in 3 cars from Cumbria, Hampshire and Somerset. We were in Warwickshire to attend a family funeral. We were booked for one night and had a lovely meal in The Merrie Lion that night. Excellent menu and friendly efficient staff. Very good breakfast too. Thank you for our brief stay. We would recommend this lovely pub.

Lovely welcome from the owner. Cosy, homely accommodation with comfy bed and modern shower. Clean and everything you could ask for in a room. No food when we stayed, but a great recommendation from Daphne (The Falcon) sorted us out. Breakfast was generous and a great start to the day.

We loved the pub - so vibrant and friendly. Customers chatting about cricket, playing cards, reading books and enjoying a varied menu. Our evening meal waitrose was lovely. Accommodating and helpgul.

A lovely village pub with good food, good beers, friendly staff and large clean comfortable accommodation. A great place for one night or a few. Very good breakfast in the morning.

We were most impressed with this establishment. Friend and welcoming staff. Good menu choices and excellent value too.

Cleanliness and service.

Large bright room with lots of extra touches. Biscuits, bottled water, hot chocolate to name a few. Lovely breakfast. Wonderful dinner. But must of all the staff were really welcoming. Wonderful stay.
