The Merrie Lion

The rooms were spacious. The king sized bed was very comfortable! It is in a separate area from the pub, so no noise from the pub comes into the rooms. In fact, it was very quiet. I appreciate that breakfast was included. Best of all, they allow dogs!

There was nothing I didn't like about it. We were there to visit Stratford Upon Avon and that was a little farther away than is ideal, but we made it work.

We stay at the merrie lion each year attending a function at the gaydon motor museum, lovely clean bedrooms and food is fantastic. Approx 15 mins to the motor museum.

I liked it all

It’s a delightful inn, nestling in a lovely English village. There was ample parking. The welcome was warm and the room big and comfortable. We needed to check in early as we were being picked up to go to a wedding. This was no problem and the owner was very helpful.

Lovely country pub.

Friendly staff, great room and breakfast.

Only thing is the room didn’t have a window, only patio doors, so for air you need to leave the door open.
