Breakfast. It would be nice to have a choice of bread other than sourdough. Dinner. We had a party 12 for dinner and the food and waitress service was excellent.

Although the rooms (7 in total) had been pre booked and paid for the system didn’t seem to have updated to show that.

Breakfast was good quality ingredients and good value and service from Lewis was top level!

Me and my partner had a rare child free night, we came across miller and carter hotel and as steak lovers we couldn’t resist. The room was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. We went downstairs for food and we had the pleasure of meeting our waitress Melody. She was more than amazing. She made us feel like she was our friend. She looked after us and every other table she had. She went above and beyond for every table she was serving. I’ve been a waitress and I know how hard it is but she made it look easy. She’s a credit to this company. The whole experience was amazing but it’s someone like melody that make it that bit more special.

I chose this Hotel for convenience of location to my destination. I had used it before and had a positive experience

Reception upon arrival was rushed. First room smelt like there was an issue with the drains in the bathroom. Requested another room and one was allocated without question. However, when asked, the shift manager said that no issue had been reported by Housekeeping which I found odd as the odour was strong and windows were open on arrival, indicating that perhaps housekeeping felt a need to ventilate. The place ticks all the boxes for facilities but seems to need a little TLC
