Location ideal. View from the room was a delight. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall enjoyed our stay.

The Full English had a greasy/oily smell - plentiful but not the best flavour. Could have been hotter. Coffee a disappointment too as didn't taste good - switched to tea! Bed was hard and duvet was a solid mass - something more fluffy would have been nice Maybe someone on the reception would be better as we had to go looking each time we needed some assistance. Also it would have been good to put charges on the room bill but understand the system did not allow.

Perfect stay for an ex oarsman! It was brilliant being back in Henley & soaking up the atmosphere in the Club. What can be better than waking up to a view of the Henley Regatta Course. Delightful staff, comfortable room & a good breakfast.

Location and history. My daughter was competing in Henley Long Distance Sculls the following day so the stay was perfect 👌.

Shower had strong pressure. Room heating was pleasant. Breakfast was decent.

Paying for the prestige and history. The stay itself is underwhelming to put it plainly. Leander Club is not set up to be a hotel and we are reminded of that ever so often. Check in is strictly by 11pm. Our request to wait even a few mins in case there was traffic, was bluntly refused. Staff left immediately after passing us the key. No one we could contact about the broken window or wifi password after. Over our stay, we looked for reception maybe 5x, and the desk was always unattended. Room is basic, of 3* standard - think non-smart 24" TV. Incessant road noise from being right by the bridge and a broken window. Function room also hosted large groups both days we were there, so it always felt like a school canteen. I think the staff tries to be fair, but the place is not set up to be a hotel and it is felt.
