"Great stay at the Fountain Hotel"

Excellent location to explore Hawes and Hardraw. The Fountain staff are friendly and the breakfast is fantastic. We had a large room with spectacular views. The beds were comfortable and had everything we needed.

"Good base for sightseeing."

Great location. Very clean room. Food was quite good. Always a buzz in the bar.

Hotel is very tired. Could do with refurbishment without losing its character.

Very friendly staff, room clean with lots of cupboard and wardrobe space. Was at the back so nice and quiet.

The entrance is a bit tired looking. Didn't reflect on the lovely room.
