In the evening, we had dinner at the restaurant. I’d ordered the duck breast on Asian noodles. The noodles were cold, which made the duck go cold very quickly. The dish itself was meant to be a cold dish, but it didn’t say this in the menu and the waiter taking our order didn’t highlight it, which he should have done. I wouldn’t have ordered it, had I known. I was offered another main course, but we had to go to a theatre show and had no time to place another order. We were given 10% off the food order, but it really should have been removed from the bill altogether, as I barely ate it (I ate most of the duck breast and a few noodles, but that was it). What a disappointment, as lunch there was delicious!

The area was central to everything we needed with secure parking and food was excellent quality

We booked two rooms for our stay, Room 5 was smaller than the other double room although priced at the same rate. The noise levels at night in room 5 made it hard to get any sleep before midnight. A supply of earplugs would help for further guests. Room 1 was fantastic- quiet and much larger- no fault at all with this room. Highly recommended.
