It was clean and in central location

I was in the "Cabin" room which was horrid:- Oppressive timber cladding with rusty screw showing was was very poorly installed. There was not a comfortable chair to sit on. The mattresses were so cheap they offered no support, and now I have a stiff back. The lighting was very poor The was the end of a screw sticking out of a unit which I caught my foot on. The Radiator cover was broken and the top badly bowed. The internet wouldn't connect because the connection was insecure. The shower door was broken. The maceraters where noisey. We could hear everything that was going on in the building. I realise the building is 200 years old so can understand the floor and staircase being quirky, but no excuse for the points above. We ordered a twin room, and when I went to bed on Friday night I found that there was no duvet, just a dog type thin blanket. (A nice member of staff gave me one for the following night)

Location is very good. Booked the day before and they were able to accommodate us. Bar staff were very friendly, and we were looking forward to eating there after seeing the menu. Paid parking available just across the street.

Room was tiny but functional. No breakfast available. We were told the kitchen was open until 8pm so went out to explore and returned at 7.40, eager to order off the lovely looking menu, only to find the internal door shut and to be told they had stopped serving, as they weren't very busy, and we couldn't order drinks from the bar either. Very disappointed, and we had to go to another local pub to eat instead...

Personeel was erg vriendelijk, we hebben lekker gegeten in het restaurant. typische engelse pup. Parkeren was wat lastiger kon niet bij de accommodatie. Waren rijden elektrisch en dat was ff zoeken. plus je moest betalen voor parkeren
