Woodlands Hall Hotel

The staff were so welcoming and helpful , I arrived early before check in time , and they did their best to have my room ready early . Great location for my walking , would definitely recommend here for a base . I didn’t eat here , but whilst having a refreshing drink on the outdoor patio which had views to die for , lots were ordering food which looked wholesome .

I liked the area, downstairs was very inviting and warm. Gorgeous luxury rooms, staff extremely helpful in-fact couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was delicious and filling

On arrival my partner went to the budget room, room 10 which was in fact in the attic area, he had noticed when trying to make a coffee that one of the cups was unclean, with a spoon stuck to the actual cup. With it being his birthday and already not gone so well before arrival, he wanted to leave as £100 for one night in that room he felt was overpriced for the cleanliness. I went to talk with the manager who was extremely helpful. Lovely lady, I just feel the cleanliness of the hotel could have been improved considerably considering the price. We were offered a luxury room instead and had some money back. No fault at all with the luxury room, absolutely beautiful. Only thing we found after was the cutlery and plates at breakfast has like a grease film and water marks which to some may look very dirty.

The evening meal service was very slow and there was a long wait for the food
