Bath Place Hotel

The location is wonderful, especially for location: close to shops, cafes, libraries (for students) and places to explore (tourists).

As it is right next to Turf Tavern, the ground floor room I was in was quite noisy with people walking in and out of the pub.

Location, location, location!!

Only the location, although the bed was comfortable enough.

Tiny room for £250 a night, with only a bath (not described in the promotional material). I haven't had a bath for 20 years, but a shower curtain might have made a difference.

Location was wonderful. Right in center of Oxford.

The first room, 7, we had was a bit odd. Keep in mind this property dates to the 17 century. But no stand up shower and toilet too much prodding to flush. Second room, 5, had more room and much better bathroom.

It’s very central to where we wanted to be. The proprietors are friendly.

We’ve stayed here before (2yrs) back but felt this time the price-value lost its mark. Its lost its charm therefore. Also breakfast was ridiculously priced for what we got. Go into town and you’ll pay less for more and better quality. Really sorry because it’s a lovely location and house. It needs renovation.
