The location of The Mash Tun Inn is excellent for those who enjoy walking and who are planning a whiskey tour in the Speyside area. The breakfast was also great and they were able to cater for my wife's dietary requirements as a vegan.

The location was very good, and the room was very nice and spacious. The food at the restaurant was quite decent, although the prices are a bit high.

The staff, unfortunately, did not seem to match the standards of the hotel. One of the girls at the restaurant was quite rude and abrupt, and it was clear she did not want to be there. Another staff member at breakfast appeared impatient when taking our order. The young man working at the restaurant didn’t even know the menu well enough to take an order. Even during check-out, they struggled with processing our room charges and payment. The water pressure in the bathroom was UNACCEPTABLE, and there was not enough hot water. The shared restrooms were not cleaned frequently, which was quite noticeable. Overall, the hotel has potential, but it clearly lacks well-trained staff to operate at the level it aims for. I would not choose to stay here again.

It was very well decorated, every small detail had been thought about. It was quiet in the evening and couldn’t hear the bar or outside. The food was incredible and the staff were fantastic so helpful and friendly.

We had an entire appartment with 4 bedrooms and a livingroom with fire place. A wood fired sauna was a pleasant addition. The accomodation spacious and very well maintained. The bar and restaurant was serving good food and drinks. The staff was very helpful.

Food was amazing and location beautiful.

For what the room was, it was pricey. Guess we knew that on booking.
