Lost Ridge Inn, Brewery & Ranch

Great food, possibility to ride a horse, taste beers, very friendly staff, excellent location.

This is one of my favorite stays in Georgia. The general vibes / decor are really welcoming and calming including the adorable backyard area where you can relax and enjoy the day. The staff was wonderful and the rooms are really comfortable. It goes without saying that if you are a beer enthusiast or just looking for a brief escape from the copious amounts of wine on your trip, you'll love this place. The biggest surprise was the affiliated restaurant a few meters from the inn. The food was amazing - which uses inputs from produce they grow on the properties. All around, it was just an amazing place to stay. Oh, if you have any games to donate, bring them. They have a few (chess, checkers) but some more would make it even better.

That we couldn't stay longer? :-D I don't think I can think of any real critique about this place. Maybe that since it is a house, it isn't as sound proofed as other places you might stay, so I guess just keep that in mind ;-)

Really cool brewery & hotel in the hills outside Sighnaghi. Great food - both breakfast and dinner. Good beers, good people. Would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful as well as the city. Breakfast is amazing, although it's a LOT of food. View from the hotel is really nice. There is a driver available to take you to the city for 10 lari each way. They arranged a driver to take us to our next location which was really helpful. There is still room for improvement in terms of hospitality and client relationships.... There is a clear priority of group events over guests staying at the hotel (this goes for activities, restaurant (which we couldn't try given an event, etc

The first room we got (1) was not great. Small, bad mattress and next to the entrance/breakfast place. There is constant movement, noise, people talking until late. You can hear everything. Wouldn't recommend this room, unless you are a really deep sleeper and don't mind being waken up at 6:50 am with the noise of breakfast preparations. After complaining about this to the manager we got changed to another room (6) upstairs, with a nice balcony, bigger bathroom and better mattress. Keep in mind that this hotel has 2 locations. We thought we were staying at the main location with the big garden, restaurant, etc, but no. We were at a secondary location 5 min away from the main location which is smaller and where the beer brewery is. In this location they host events to big groups of people...so if you want to just hang around enjoying a book you might think it twice as the place is not that big and the events take place in the garden. One of the days I was changing in my room when I suddenly saw someone on our terrace (taking photos to people at the event) this was really uncomfortable. Before our arrival I got in touch with the hotel as there are so many things available...and I wanted to book some things in advance. They told us that we could just book upon arrival...but when we got there there was no one who spoke English to welcome us...so for the first day we couldn't find anyone to ask about the different activities. The only activity I managed to book in advance was horse riding. Unfortunately, when we got there (at the time we previously agreed) they said they were going to delay us for 1 hour because they got another group last minute....we were shocked. They didn't even offered explanation or a coffee/tea so we could wait comfortably.... After waiting for 1 hour we started the activity, which was really nice as the area is beautiful, although keep in mind it is just riding not a tour. They won't offer any information.
