Très décevant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. La propriété et la taille de la chambre. Odeur répugnante dans la salle de bain. Petit déjeuner avec le stricte mimum à voir les photos à proximité un frigo avec des produits payants.

Good location 10 minutes from centre and elsewhere, good sized room ,comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast which was additional was very good. Staff were very helpful.

The room was extremely dirty and had a terrible smell. There wasn’t even a proper curtain—it was just covered with a sheet. There were ants crawling on the bed. In short, we couldn’t stay there at all. We turned around and left as soon as we entered. To make matters worse, we were not refunded.

My room was more of an apartment than a normal hotel room, with separate lounge, kitchen bar, and shower room as well as the twin bedroom. It was a 15 minute walk to the Stalin Museum, and the centre of town with selection of restaurants. I was driving to the mountains to see the famous cave monastery, so I skipped breakfast to set off at 6am. However my hire car had a flat tyre after hitting one too many potholes the previous day. The night wactman helped me change the tyre, and wouldn't accept any money for doing so. (I gave him it to him anyway because he was a godsend. To me, the Royal (and how ironic that name is in the birthplace of Stalin!) summed up Gerogiqn hospitality.

Three couples of us booked three rooms at Royal House. all of us left the rooms immediately after entering and did not stay there at all because the conditions were unacceptable. The rooms were extremely dirty, completely different from the photos uploaded on the platform, and were located in a separate building behind the hotel. There were worms/insects in the rooms and the furniture and equipment were very old and poorly maintained. For the amount we paid, we have stayed in much cleaner and far better hotels before. Despite this, we were not refunded. In addition, the booking appeared as “cancelled,” which prevented us from leaving a review until I contacted Booking.com to clarify the issue In our opinion, this may be done intentionally to avoid commission fees and to prevent negative reviews, which results in misleadingly positive ratings and misleads customers.
