Perfect hotel, great stuff

Great place for groups with awesome common are! We had a great time in the hotel. The included breakfast and dinner are also good : )

There is a homelike feel to Casa Ozon Gudauri where you feel very cosy. The 4th level has a big common room with sofas and a screen allowing us to watch moovies in the evenings. The atmosphere at the bar area is great. The fact that (delicious) dinners are included is absolutely great since you don't have to worry about where you'll have dinner after ski. The staff is super friendly and will go a long way to make you feel confortable.

Please be aware that bathrooms are shared.

A boot warmer would've been an upgrade, but the general equipment storage area is already warm enough not to let the boots get too wet.

Owner is really kind and helpfull, listening needs of tourists ;) nice bar and nice common area, morning transfer to ski lifts, breakfasts and dinners enough to be happy ;) nice beds comfortable - perfect ;)

Comfortable nicely decorated rooms. Great half-board cooked by local ladies from local products. I loved their rose petal home made jam, all the varieties of pickled veggies they prepare for the guests! Despite the location not being at the cabin station, they offer a complementary bus shuttle after breakfast. The walking distance is about 10min or less. The highlight is a lobby room with a bar, music instruments and a fire place where the guests gather every evening. The hotel is run by a Ukrainian-Georgian team who could also offer you professional instructor services, snowboard camps and off-piste skiing.

Ozon Gudauri is a great place to stay for a group vacation, especially when you want to go skiing or snowboarding. The (replacement) manager Andrew has been very friendly and patient, providing us with explanations and recommendations in English. The hotel has all the basic facilities that you would need for a weeklong vacation. The breakfast and dinner meals are nutritious, including dishes from the local cuisine. There is a shuttle every morning leaving 9:45 and 10:30 from the hostel to the slope, which is very convenient. You can ski back to the hostel.

While we enjoyed our stay very much, we would like to provide a few points of attention for European guests as well as feedback to our lovely host: 1) There’s a cat. If you have a cat allergy, this is not the place for you. The cat goes into all the rooms so no place is safe. 2) The main entrance is being used a smoke-area which means that the sigaret smoke permeates into the lobby/ lounge. 3) In winter, there are groups from a Belarusian snowboarding travel agency who claim the main space of the lobby and demand other guests to keep quite during group activities. At the same time, the same group may cause a lot of noise which is still very audible in the first floor until at least midnight and sometimes beyond that. 4) If your group is larger than 4 persons, it’s possible that you cannot sit all together at one table during dinner and breakfast. 5) The shared bathrooms on the fourth floor are rather rudimentary. 6) The heating throughout the hotel is set very warm (bring t-shirts and shorts).
