Beautiful historical building full of Georgian culture. Large comfortable room with nice outlook. Period furniture throughout. Lovely common areas for relaxing. Nice breakfast. Very helpful manager.

Beautiful historic building, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. The location was great. The room and common areas were clean. Our transfer from the airport was comfortable, the driver was careful and shared many good tips on places to see.

Unique place within the Museum of Repressed Writers

The building is absolutely beautiful, breakfast was quite good and plentiful, the location was excellent. I stayed twice, in two different rooms, and definitely preferred the Steinbeck room.

Some of the staff were readily available, friendly, and helpful, others were hard to find and less helpful.

Mischa's place was incredible -- beautiful rooms, amazing views, warmth, and hospitality. It's clearly a labor of love. Mischa was extremely helpful, generous, and accommodating. I stayed in two rooms -- the small double the first night was fine, and I had plenty of room to spread out in the building. But the second night Mischa moved me to the top floor of the other building, which was insanely beautiful and comfortable. Cannot recommend highly enough!
