Nice Hotel, But the Staff and Rules Made It Less Enjoyable We stayed here for a week, and overall the hotel itself was quite nice. It was clean, the rooms were in good condition, and everything looked well taken care of. That said, the experience was a bit disappointing because of the staff. Most of them weren’t very friendly, especially one girl at breakfast who was quite rude every single morning. It just didn’t feel welcoming. Breakfast was also not great. It was served from 8 to 10, but by 9:30 there was barely anything left. On top of that, they had some odd rules — like not letting you take even a small croissant or snack for your kids if they were still asleep in the room. That felt a bit too strict, especially for families. Also, unlike other places we’ve stayed, the sunbeds by the beach weren’t included in the room price, which was a bit of a letdown. So overall, the hotel is nice and clean, but the service and weird rules kind of took away from the experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Makis Hotel in Skala, Kefalonia! The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, giving the feeling of a private or boutique retreat. It has everything you could need for a relaxing holiday — a private beach, a bar offering a variety of delicious food, and comfortable, well-kept rooms. The staff are both friendly and professional, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. What impressed us most was their kindness — we even forgot something after checking out, and they immediately contacted us and offered to send it to us. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. The location is also excellent — just a short walk from the heart of Skala, where you can enjoy shops, tavernas, and a lively atmosphere, yet the hotel itself remains calm and quiet. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located stay in Kefalonia. We will definitely return!

Superbe hôtel, décore avec goût. Idéalement situé à quelques encablures du centre du village très animé de Skala et en face de la mer. Des transats bien confortables sont disponibles moyennant un supplément. Petit déjeuner varié excellent. La chambre est spacieuse, bien équipée, la literie excellente et surtout d'une propreté sans faille. Petit balcon

La posizione: basta attraversare la strada per raggiungere il bellissimo mare di Skala. Lo stabilimento dell'hotel offre 2 lettini veramente comodi e l'ombrellone a 15 euro, con possibilità di essere serviti per mangiare e bere. Il parcheggio interno. La piscina con l'utilizzo libero di lettini e ombrellone. La camera spaziosa e pulita con cabina doccia perfetta.

La colazione poco varia.
