Amazing room with a nice balcony view. Great guests always ready to help. Very nice experience and we will definitely visit them again.

Yayaki exceeded our expectations for pretty much everything. It’s truly a luxury boutique hotel but at a much better price point than other places we looked in to. The rooms are spacious and have great design features, and the pool / breakfast area is beautiful. We really appreciated the staff who were very accommodating and helpful, and also thought the breakfast was full of options and delicious. Spetses is a great island to explore, I would recommend getting a scooter or ATV and going to all the beaches. They are easy to find, and the water is crystal clear. You will not be disappointed :)

My only wish was perhaps a scheduled included yoga class, as the choice of doing one on your own with a laptop or paying for a private class wasn’t so appealing. I’d be happy to pay less for a group class but perhaps the space isn’t big enough / it’s offered at other times of the year.

clearly needs a relationships manager or someone that the job is to make the customers happy and feel welcome. we didn’t feel welcome since the beginning until the end, which for an hotel of this level is unacceptable. I hope you will be luckier than us…

Clean comfortable room.

Rules. Rules. Rules. It felt like we were uninvited guests getting in the way of the staff, rather than guests who had paid considerably for a wonderful boutique experience.... one we didn't get. Vegetarian only breakfast the same every day. Extremely high priced drinks. After 1 day we never stayed around the pool again. Just 8 beds and 35 guests. We won't return. And so said 3 lady lawyers we met on the same trip.

The hotel and grounds are lovely and immaculately kept. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Spetses is a beautiful Island and a great place to stay and explore.

Yayaki is more akin to a bed and breakfast than a boutique hotel and it very much felt like being a guest in someone’s house (with house rules imposed). We found the owners rather cold towards us and at times felt slightly awkward being around the hotel. Having spoken to other guests, we know it was not just us that felt that way. We think they would benefit from some additional staff, as often we had to wait to get their attention to be served breakfast or to order a drink. Requests were also often forgotten and not attended to without a reminder. The phrase “give me a minute” was the standard reply. The water, coffee and shower gel in our room was not replenished at all during our six night stay. With breakfast we were served one cup of coffee and if you requested more, you were charged (while still having breakfast). Breakfast was perfectly nice but quite limited in choice (also vegetarian), which got a bit tired after a few days. The choice to make the breakfast fully vegetarian seemed at odds with the fact we were recommended fish and meat restaurants on arrival and that the menu in our room included both fish and meat dishes for ordering in. We had understood our room came with a terrace but it was just a communal area where breakfast etc. is served. You are not permitted to eat your own food or drink in the communal areas - while that might be an ok policy in a full service hotel, it felt rather restrictive there.

It’s an excellent hotel focusing on sustainability but it would have been great if there were glass refillable water bottles so that we could chill the water (you can drink water from the taps but it’s not cold so not great to drink!)
