Rooms were clean and beautiful! Not far from the beach and lots of local restaurants to choose from.

The pool was quite chilly but that’s me having to really think of a negative!

Our stay at Aegean Gem was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel staff, especially Nikolas, is extremely friendly. At arrival we were welcomed with a local drink. And even though we arrived early we could change clothes, freshen up and use the pool before our room was ready. The family run hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast buffet is great with a lot of options made by Nikolas’ grandmother every morning. if your hungry during the day you can order a drink or bite at the pool. From the hotel it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the many restaurants that Kamari has to offer: we really liked Fistikies and Gaia Delicatessen. Kamari is still touristy but a lot less crowded that Fira or Oia which was great. At the end of our stay we forgot our mobile phone (we really didn’t want to leave!) and Nikolas was incredibly helpful and mailed the phone to our next destination. We can absolutely recommend staying at Aegean Gem!

Hotel was peaceful, clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room size was large, I stayed in the room with personal hot tub (only suggestion is to add a full sized mirror). Location was ideal, 5mins walk to the beach, restaurants and 10 minutes to the bus stop to Fira. Although close to the airport, I was not disturbed by any flights. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Suggest adding full size mirror in bedrooms.
