El Greco Resort & Spa

A fantastic place to stay in Santorini. Located just outside of Fira, it was only a pleasant 10 minute walk into town. The investment in the public pathways has made the walk well lit, safe, and easy, even in the evenings. The resort itself was well maintained and offered a great selection at the buffet breakfast each morning. We also enjoyed several dinners at the resort, with plenty of variety and quality food available. The combination of a peaceful location, convenient access to Fira, and excellent dining options made for a very enjoyable stay. Would happily stay here again.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at El Greco . Hotel is everything you could need , great location , just outside the town of Fira but close enough to walk. Rooms are clean and spacious , with a fridge and coffee making facilities. Pool areas are all lovely, plenty of sunbeds and clean beach towels available as and when you need them. Breakfast offered a good variety of choice , the restaurant does get busy but on second day we discovered a second restaurant near one of the other pools which was a far nicer and hardly anyone in it . Overall the stay was comfortable, would recommend to others.

View across road spoilt by part demolished building. Room is tired and the kitchenette was a waste of space.Looks like nothing has changed in the room since the 1970’s. No milk provided and bottled water rationed to a 0.5 litre per day. . The buffet breakfast was basic and the served out food under warming lights Cold and inedible. Overall glad we only stayed for 2 days. Never again..
