Platanus Guesthouse

Location was the best! Close to metro line 1. Bed was soooo comfy 😉. Air condition was very helpful during summer. Very quiet room with good equipment: like Smart TV.

Location is very peaceful and quiet, but many cute cafés are just around the corner. The common area had a fridge, kettle and coffee-maker. I really liked the inner yeard

Well if your neighbours are having fun you'll hear everything. Guys who stayed in the next room to me were having hella long and enjoyable night - high five though, such performance :)

Cosy room in a lovely part of Budapest. Although not big the high celling and layout made it feel more roomy than it probably was. Facing into the apartment courtyard so outside noise is minimal. Communal kitchen with fridge and free coffee (capsules) provided. Shower was very good. Host was easily contactable. The guesthouse itself is on a very leafy and quiet street just off Andrassy in pretty affluent part of the city, so a good location imv. Metro is just a 3 or so minute walk; City Park around 10mins; and St. Stephan's Basilica in just over 20 mins. We used to stroll down Andrassy in the morning and get the metro back at night. There is a nice café on the other side of the street and although it's not cheap you could just grab pasties to go and have with the provided coffee in the kitchen. Very nearby is a Vietnamese place with a good lunch deal (had it after we checked out and had some time to kill). It;s a typical inner city/central residential district with plenty of shops and amenities but not so touristy.

No real complaints, we enjoyed our stay :)
