I booked this homestay because I saw many good reviews, so I expected a comfortable and clean stay. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We booked a room with two separate beds, but from the first night there were already multiple issues. Part of the electricity in the room did not work, so I could not charge my phone next to my bed. This was eventually fixed, but the biggest problem was the bathroom. There was a huge amount of mold and a very strong smell coming from it. The smell was so bad that I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times because it made me feel uncomfortable and sick. After one night, I told the hosts that I could not stay in that room anymore because of the mold and smell. Their solution was not professional at all. They said they would “fix” it, but all they did was paint over the mold instead of properly dealing with the issue. They then offered us two separate rooms instead. One room was free because of the condition of the original room, but for the second room we still had to pay extra. We did not think this was fair at all, because the problem was caused by the condition of the accommodation, not by us. We originally booked one room with two separate beds, and that should have been properly arranged from the start. Only after two nights were we finally able to move into a room with separate beds, which was what we had booked in the first place. Overall, I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled. Mold and strong smells like this should never be acceptable in a guest room, and I do not think the issue was taken seriously enough.

Le personnel était très gentil et accueillant. La chambre était très spacieuse, et les sanitaires extérieurs sont à la fois originaux et très beaux. Nous avons également pu profiter de la piscine, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus appréciable.

I really enjoyed the place. The staff is really amazing, taking care of everything. There’s a pool where you can relax and it’s really close to the beach. We rented some bikes to discover the island, I really recommend it as you can move around easily.

It’s kinda annoying that you can’t close the curtains when going to the toilet unless done from inside. can be a bit tricky to find.

This is such a beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is very well located, walkable from the harbour and close to great options for food and entertainment.

This isn’t really a criticism but just a consideration that the hotel is easy to miss if you are walking along the Main Street.
