YMCA Tourist Hostel Shimla

Very approachable place

Good location close to the mall. Shared bathroom facilities were good. Charming old building. Good for one night.

poor value for the price. Place is rundown, broken windows in room, no towels provided. Sheets looked dirty. You'll need to be able to climb many stairs just to get to the front door. Hard to find. For a longer stay I'd recommend somewhere else.

Location and the view from YMCA wS the best one can get in Shimla.Also they have me a single room for the price of a dormitory

No fan and one cannot open the window due to monkeys so cud get stuffy sometimes..there's water shortage in Shimla so sometimes there was no water in the loo.

No facility for breakfast.

Service and common facility should be better. Door and widow locks are not working. Management should take care of that.

Water shortage,no food,no tea,not even paid,u need to go 150 steps downstairs for any small thing u needful,no wifi also.not recommended for old age,windows are almost broken.

The view,view is superb from hostel.

The attitude of the manage. He was humble and helpful.

Almost everything
