Jellyfish Villas Bingin, Uluwatu

We thought the villa was beautiful and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The private pool was a perfect size for relaxing and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the evenings. Also great to have a large drinking water station in the room to fill our bottles up at. It’s a great vibe in the hotels restaurant/pool area, tasty food and we felt really looked after by staff. They really made an effort to enhance our stay. Though we didn’t get to explore too much during our stay, the location seemed perfect with lots of nearby restaurants and amenities that you could easily walk to.

It could be a little bit noisy (especially through the villas ensuite) with construction during the day and farm animals in the early hours, though we liked hearing the rooster :)

The stairs to the second floor of the villa were very steep. Overall it wasn’t an accessible venue but was fine for us.

The overall location in Bingin

Overall, very noisy, uncomfortable, and absolutely not worth the high price. Out of our wonderful holiday in Bali, this was the only hotel we truly did not enjoy. The villa is completely exposed to outside noise – roosters, motorbikes, and people talking all night made it impossible to sleep. Most of the time there was no hot water in the shower, and the water pressure was very weak. The room was not clean. After a sleepless night due to the constant noise, we asked to be moved to another room, but the staff refused. When we then requested a refund for the remaining nights so we could leave, they also declined. Also there was nobody to guide us to the reception when we arrived with our luggage, and we had to find it on our own. Not recommended!
