Mahadana Ubud

Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen und hat eine wirklich schönen kleinen Garten mit einem wirklich schönen Pool. Haken: Es müssen ein paar steile Treppen hochgestiegen werden. Die Zimmer sind auch schön mit Balkon. Einzig sind die Fenster nicht dicht, so können Tausendfüssler und Gekos rein. Das Bad ist etwas eng (kleine Ablage). Für 2 Nächte völlig okey, für mehr würden wir uns anders entscheiden. Auch hat das Hotel kein wirkliches Restaurant, falls man das möchte. Ich denke, man könnte das Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon einnehmen, weil es angeboten wird. Wir haben es nicht ausprobiert.

Das Personal war etwas zurückhaltend, was ich bei einem Hotel nicht passend finde. Wir wollten am Pool ein Bier trinken, um auf den Roller zu warten. Da wurde uns gesagt, dass dies nicht möglich sei. Die Kommunikation war etwas sperrlich und irritierend.

Wir fanden die Lage sehr gut. Eigentlich hatten wir das Hotel gebucht, weil es so nah am Campuan Ridge Walk liegt, der sich für uns jedoch als absoluter Flop rausgestellt hat. Ist aber gleich ums Eck fußläufig zu erreichen. Oberhalb des Hotels waren jedoch wunderschöne Reisfelder und fantastische Frühstücksmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Deshalb haben wir es ganz und gar nicht bereut, sondern sehr genossen. Der Pool war eine kleine Oase und auch der Standard im Zimmer sehr gut. Man hat uns auch geholfen einen Roller zu mieten, den wir aber kaum genutzt haben, denn wir fanden den Zufahrtsweg zum Hotel gemeingefährlich für nicht so geübte Fahrer, da links und rechts Wasserkanäle waren und die Wege sehr schmal. Es kam auch ständig jemand entgegen. Da wurde es sehr knapp teilweise. Aber der Service vom Hotel hierzu stimmte. Die locals sind es einfach so gewohnt. Man konnte das Frühstück auf seinem Balkon einnehmen. Das ist toll, haben wir aber nicht genutzt, weil es oberhalb des Hotels so tolle Möglichkeiten gab. Da haben wir auswärts gefrühstückt.

Es gab einen sehr gefährlichen Treppenaufgang zum Hotel. Ohne Geländer und bei Nässe wirklich extrem gefährlich. Mit unseren Rucksäcken ging es gerade so, aber mit Koffer undenkbar. Man konnte auch anders laufen, aber dieser Weg war deutlich länger. Im Bad roch es etwas muffig. Auf der Terrasse legten wir ein Tuch über die Sitzmöbel, weil sie schmutzig waren, aber das Zimmer selbst war ein Traum. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

The room was really nice, comfy and they did a nice welcome set up. The pool was really nice also.

Please note there are lots of steps to get up to the hotel. Carrying luggage up is a struggle but the staff were able to help. Also, our room was not cleaned when we left the sign out for it to be.

Très chouette séjour dans cet hôtel. Un peu décentré de la route ce qui n’est pas plus mal pour le bruit. À 5-10’ à pied du centre d’Ubud. Personnel très accueillant et prévenant, ils m’ont aidé avec mes bagages. La chambre était propre, confortable et avec des facilités (sèche cheveux, coffre, peignoirs). La vue de la piscine au coucher du soleil est juste magnifique. Je recommande vivement.

The pool was really nice with a beautiful view. The room was also very nice. The staff were very nice and helpful.

The sheets when I arrived were very dirty and stained. The staff changed the fitted sheet when I asked for new sheets but didn’t change the pillow cases. I didn’t feel confident in the cleanliness of the duvet. The bed has curtains around it which I tried not to touch as they were also very unclean. Also got in the way of watching the television. The route to the hotel is difficult. They should make it clear that the hotel is not car accessible and the 2 routes to the hotel and not very clearly marked and involve an extremely steep climb. Difficult if you have a large suitcase.

Absolutely loved everything about this place!! Beautiful, comfortable, spacious, relaxing,close to everything but also distant enough to make peace and quiet in an excellent separate rice field area! Perfect place to enjoy the pool during Nyepi!

Nothing! Nothing! There were mouse in our room. And during the wholw night we could find nobody, literally nobody at the reception. We had to stay at the room during the night with MOUSE! Because at the night there were mosquites everwhere, so we had to choice our bad!
