Pozar Salt Cave Hotel Spa

Very clean and spacious room, comfortable beds, daily change of towels, rich breakfast, very friendly owner, very good and reasonably priced hot stone back massage.

As opposed to the general very good/ excellent first impression there were several minor points that elicit a mixed rating: Luke warm coffee on three days, unfriendly reaction of receptionist acting as breakfast attendant. It took several minutes for the tap and shower water to become hot in the beginning of our seven day stay when we were the only guests. Also the A/C heating temperature was not as high as during the weekend when there were more guests. Additionally, I was surprised when I found out that the room was available for the same period at a 25 % to 40 % lower price if booked later and/ or from a mobile device! That price would be good value for money.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and the attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making my stay incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights for me was the Wi-Fi connection. I had low expectations, as I've often faced issues with internet connectivity in hotels, especially in Greece. However, the Wi-Fi at this hotel worked flawlessly throughout my stay. In fact, it was better than any other hotel I've stayed in during my travels in Greece. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. The combination of great service, comfortable accommodations, and reliable internet made my stay truly enjoyable. I can't wait to return!

On-site spa, grandeur of architecture, comfort beds, spotless & perfectly maintained, staff was superb. In particular the matron of the family that owns the hotel, Elena, is a goddess - beautiful, nurturing, kind and capable. She gave messages that relieved chronic pain. The facilities are also unique & can be reserved for private use : salt cave , hamam (low temp steam); steam room, and pool (with some salt purification that prevents chlorine smell) . I cannot wait to return. I am eager to see cherry blossom season in may - which is right before busy season . Every touch was thoughtful and comforting (fireplaces , softest linens & comforters, spa showers and a jacuzzi in some rooms) . I especially loved the luxury of having a series of treatments and taking the elevator to my room. They even provided a lovely tote bag when I checked out which I perfect for the items in has shopped .. finally the mega thermal spas are a 4 minute ride and there is an excellent “fast -food” place across the street which has organic chicken kabobs, shredded cabbage salads and local semi- sweet wine..

Room with fireplace, nice balcony spotless, lovely shower booth, breakfast ok. Loved the salt cave, close distance to pozar thermal baths, which were very relaxing, fresh country air.

Smoky air from fire wood burning for heating, caused some caughing, clothes smell of burnt wood. Lost 300 pounds, were in the drawer by my husbands bedside, and disappeared. Owner didnt not accept responsibility, as stuff were tgere long time and as he claimed honest. Owner claimed that his wife cleaned the room therefore money couldnt have been lost. They tried to make us look crazy. We had to inform them m about the incident, my husband didnt want to call the police but he let go. We never experienced anything like that before and weve been travelling for many years. Now from now on will never leave cash in drawers, no more trusting people.

Lovely hotel with very kind and helpful staff. Every question or request we had was responded to immediately. We booked a Junior Suite, the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Fridge in the room which we used for our wine and cold cuts. We relaxed in the Salt Cave, spent time at the pool, and enjoyed a massage - I recommend all of it. Loved the location: close enough to go to Loutra Pozar even before breakfast (rent your bathrobe at the reception) and perfect to explore the area.

Two things just for information: While the jacuzzi is very nice, there is no shower, and it is a bit difficult to shower in the jacuzzi tub. Breakfast is rich but lacks vegetables or salads. However, we were given tomatoes and cucumbers immediately after asking.
