Creta Aquamarine Hotel

Lovely hotel with very good staff.

Good value for the money and great location

We liked that they had a pool and that they were pretty close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and tried their best to help however they could.

The beds were TERRIBLY uncomfortable - we complained and they put mattress toppers on them which helped a lot. The bathroom near the pool wouldn't flush, and would become FILLED with feces. We mentioned it over and over, day after day, and it was never fixed. We did the all-inclusive -- the food was so-so. it was just a simple buffet with very little variety. The bar also only served soda, beer and red/white cheap wines. Nothing else which was disappointing. Mixed drinks would be nice. The pool is VERY tiny - other hotels nearby had MUCH nicer ones that we could see and covet. They only supply a small amount of lounge chairs - if you don't get down and snag one early in the morning, you'll have no where to lay by the pool. The lounge chairs at the beach are NOT included with your stay - you have to pay to use them. Location wise this was difficult to get to being between Herkaloin and Chania.
