Tourist Boutique Hotel

Das Hotel liegt an der Hafenpromenade, fußläufig zu Restaurants, Geschäften und der de-Bosset-Brücke. Mein Einzelzimmer war klein, hübsch eingerichtet, mit Balkon zur Meerseite hin (Aufpreis). Handtuchwechsel und Reinigung täglich, alles super sauber. Das beworbene Frühstück hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen, jeden Morgen frische griechische Pies, Joghurt, Kuchen und Gebäck. Auch dort ist das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Event-Boote, sowie die Fähre nach Lixouri legen gegenüber, bzw. in 300 Metern Entfernung ab. Als Alleinreisende schätzte ich das alles sehr.

Mich hat es nicht gestört, aber Ruhesuchende sind hier falsch. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist stark befahren.

Das Personal beim Frühstück könnte freundlicher sein und auf die Gäste des Hotels zugehen.

Unfortunately we had booked a triple room, spacious enough, but the balcony barely had space for 2 chairs, no table. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing, cold eggs were off putting, some of the labelling on the local produce could be improved

They are dishonest. It's a long story, but in essence, I booked rooms for 2 different dates that had free cancellation. When I tried to cancel the room for the second date, I was told I could not, even though my booking screenshot showed that the booking was with free cancellation. I then tried to move the rooms from the later date to the earlier date so that we would have more rooms, instead of on a shared basis. When I showed up for the earlier date, they did not honour this arrangement. I was then told I was, indeed, free to cancel the later date, but would not get my money already paid back. I reiterated once again that we would not be staying there for the second date. More or less, that's where it ended and am now charged the balance of the full cost for the later date on a no-show basis. Quite pathetic, really. There are much better places to stay in Argostoli.

Great sea views, convenient location, restaurant with healthy, delicious meals and room service, friendly, helpful staff.
