Hotel Villa Flora

Very clean Good breakfast

The lady that owns the hotel is very abrupt .

Staying at Villa Flora was a very pleasant experience! When we arrived, we were greated by two ladies who helped us bring our luggage to the room, brought us cookies and water. These ladies prepared us a wondeful breakfast everyday and were really very kind. The accomodation itself is very beautiful and alike all buildings in Naxos town. It is completely and beautifully renovated and very well furnished. We had a large room with two double beds in two rooms, one with AC and one with a fan, two tvs, bathroom and a terrace. We had a hair blower and an iron in the room. The breakfast was particularly amazing and it offered various types of local food, such as cheese, fruits and sweets. The ladies prepared us capuccinos and scrambled eggse. It was really one of the strongest points of our stay and we really enjoyed it everytime. The locations is also great. It is 300m from the town beach and 10-15minutes walk from the Naxos port. It was quiet during the night. Overall, this place felt more like home than a rented appartment. We hope to come again.

Not enough wardrobes to keep clothes in a room for 4 people. A big mirror would have used us a lot.

Modern, tastefully decorated and very clean. Great location in a neighborhood exactly between St George beach and the Chora (town). Although breakfast options are very similar each day, there is a wide variety so you don’t have to eat the same thing twice. However, the zucchini potato frittata was so delicious I found myself eating it every day. fresh tropical fruit, yogurt, cheese, sandwiches are also offered. The owner also purchased gluten free breads/sweets from the grocery for me which was a nice touch.

I messaged the owner a day before our departure for help arranging a taxi to the ferry port but didn’t get a response that afternoon or early the next morning. There was some miscommunication with the staff and I thought they were still able to call the next day, but they were Filipina and do not speak Greek. Luckily the port was close enough for us to drag our suitcases 15 min but for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues you’ll want to make sure you arrange transportation ahead of time

Perfect location in a quiet street a couple of minutes away from the beach and an easy 8-10 minute stroll into the centre where the bars, restaurants and port are. The room we had was exceptional- contemporary decoration, the most comfortable huge bed, fantastic bathroom with a powerful rainfall shower and little extras that made the difference such as a proper hairdryer and a mini ironing board and iron. A large balcony with a street view to be expected of the location. The breakfasts were delicious with a good selection of freshly prepared food. The two ladies who worked there were delightful and helpful, and Flora the owner was also pleasant and helpful and interested in her guests. The only problem was we wished we could have stayed longer.

Nothing it was a great place to end our island hopping trip

Property was in a great location with comfortable bed and great AC.

Only negative was the staff barely spoke English or Greek. Had a difficult time communicating needs.

The staff (Bernadette and Rosa) were very kind and helpful. The location is excellent, very quiet road and close to a very good beach, and 10 min walk from the main drag. The shower in the bathroom was very good.

The main issue was the sink was in the bedroom and not in the bathroom! None of the pictures alluded to that fact so it was quite a surprise. The room seemed quite a bit smaller than the ones pictured and for a 6 to 7 day stay, space was very tight for 2 people. The balcony also very small. All the electric plugs in the room would switch off when taking the key out of the holder, including the plug for the fridge, so nothing could be kept cold or you couldn't leave something on charge. A kettle was provided but with no coffee/tea bags. The owner was not the warmest to begin with for the first few days though some guests did seem to get a better welcome than others....

Very modern and well accommodated.
