Hotel Lofos - The Hill

Good location but on steep hill. The view very nice across to the Chora and supermarket close by.

Wash hand basin tiny with shelf above so even difficult to brush you teeth or shave. No kettle in room but a kitchen at reception however we were refused permission to be able to boil water to make our own coffee. We asked if the tap water was drinkable and were told it was not. There are sometimes outlets for drinking water around town which are free but he didn’t tell us there was one. He said we must buy our water from the supermarket. We subsequently found out there was a drinking water outlet right across the road from us. Unbelievable to be so obstructionist.

Very nice place in the center of town and with an amazing view from the balcony. Close to shops, bars, the bus stop, … The transfer from and to the port was a nice bonus.

Have travelled to Ios since 1981. I prefer the natural authentic qualities of Ios. The rooms at Lofus are traditional village rooms with all you need. The location excellent. Nikos is great. Very helpful and an authentic Greek family.

I like everything about Lofos the Hill. I dislike developments by millionaires that take away from.the natural beauty of the island.

Staff were amazing and offered to pick up and drop us off at the port. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Location is prime! Definitely recommend

Nikos was very helpful and nice for the entire duration of our stay. The location is also perfect, right in the center of Chora beside all of the shops.

The location was perfect- only about 3mins walk from the centre. Even shorter walk down to the bus stop for the beach. The host gave us free transport to and from the port and was very accommodating about any requests we had!
