Chrissie's Hotel

Our stay at Crissie’s Hotel was incredible! The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the hospitality truly stood out - especially that of the owner. Adel is one of the warmest hosts you’ll ever meet and has a remarkable ability to make your stay feel effortless and deeply relaxing. His passion for the hotel and his love for the national park are contagious! We stayed for two nights and would have absolutely extended our stay if we could. The room was very comfortable, spotless, and featured a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. The hotel also has a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, definitely don’t miss it! The team went above and beyond to help us arrange a last-minute rafting tour, a spice plantations guided visit, secure tickets to cultural events in the village, and organize an excellent driver for our journey to Kochi. Overall, this hotel truly surpassed our expectations! We highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day! 😊

A magical place, surrounded by an exceptional garden where you can admire the region’s wildlife. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very welcoming. I was ill when I arrived, and Adel (the owner) and his entire team took wonderful care of me. They helped us from beginning to end and made sure I was safe. I am still very grateful to them for that. If you are looking for a unique place with strong values and a warm welcome, this is the place to be!

By far the best stay during our trip through India! A friend and I stayed here for three nights in total with a short break for an overnight stay in Periyar National Park. The hotel has everything you want: Nice rooms with individual artwork in every single one, balconies with a beautiful view of the garden/of forest (especially beautiful on the third floor), a pool, great Indian/Italian restaurant, yoga classes and the list goes on. But what makes this place really unique and an unforgettable experience are the heartwarmingly kind and welcoming people, who put so much effort in making the stay so special. We got help with any kind of question like visa, preparation for the Periyar Hike, train tickets and recommandations for Kumily. They even organised a surprise birthday reception and a delicious cake for my birthday when we returned from the National Park. Cannot thank you enough! Everything was great. The owner was awesome and made sure he spoke to all the guests and got to know each of them. Good location and nice breakfast.

A fantastic place to stay with an exceptional atmosphere, we felt welcomed from the first minute to the last one thanks to Adel and the whole team. They are extremely helpful and friendly, our room was clean and nice and we eat a very good homemade food in their restaurant. They also found us the best driver of our trip to India, we did a pleasant 5 hours journey to the south. Overall, absolutely recommended!
