Cliff Side Suites

Our stay at Cliffside Suites was unfortunately not as pleasant as we had hoped. While the property offers lovely views, the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome — particularly due to the attitude of the the lady at both check-in and check-out. The rooms follow a cave-style design, which makes them quite dark and more basic than the photos suggest. The breakfast was poor: limited selection, often cold, and not at the standard expected for the prices charged. Our room was located at the base of several steep stairs, which may be challenging for some guests — worth knowing before you book. What stood out most was the lack of warmth and respect during our interactions, which overshadowed the hotel’s other efforts. This was in contrast to all our other stays in Greece, where the hospitality felt genuine and attentive. To be fair, the location between Fira and Imerovigli is convenient (about a 15-minute walk), and we truly appreciated the housekeeping team and the porters who carried our luggage up and down multiple levels — their efforts were sincerely appreciated.

Fabulous location. Our female concierge was one of the best we have ever encountered. Very informative very helpful. The room had an amazing view, large and was very comfortable. Restaurants all around our accommodation were superb.

They were a lot of stairs, but you soon became use to them. If you have Mobility issues, this would be a major problem. Unfortunately, breakfast was very underwhelming so I would suggest trying one of the many cafes close by.

The views are amazing, especially during the sunset. There are lots of areas to sit whether it be on the rooms patio or a common space. This property has a ton of stairs. There is quite a few going down to the reception and then more going down to the rooms and pool. There is breakfast offered at a cost but I didn’t try it. This property is in the heart of Firostefani. There is tons of restaurants and shops nearby as well as the start to the hike to Oia. Definitely bring more water than you think you need. The staff are super helpful with organizing transportation, giving recommendations for food, tours, buses, and carrying luggage. Everyone works really hard and are constantly carrying food, luggage, bottles of water up and down all the stairs. Rhe water in Santorini is not drinkable. There is a bottle of water provided in your room on arrival and then you need to ask for more when you run out.

The pool could be warmer. It was about the same temperature as the oceans. It also would be nice to have more water added in the room when it’s being cleaned.

The location was great, close to everything. The view was spectacular and the facilities (pool, bar, terraces) were nice. The entire staff were very nice and extremely accommodating. We were also allowed to store our bags until check in. We would highly recommend and would stay again.

Excelente localização, com uma vista incrível. Fica longe da grande agitação de Oia e Fira. O quarto era confortável, cama boa e ótima ducha. Os funcionários extremamente solícitos e cordiais.
