HOTEL MALABAR PLAZA

1. Fantastic location. Easy access everywhere. With bus, auto, e-hailing options. Cause the location is so strategic in Mylapore, it does not cost much to go around. 2. Superb location for food. Next door, there is a super mart. Fresh fruits, veg and snacks etc. Two doors away, multi cuisine restaurant,Palmshore restaurant then two more restaurants -walking distance 5 mins.... delicious briyani options at Marina Park and then, for those of us who are vegetarians...Sangeetha Bhavan pure veg restaurant is just close by. I was heading here most of the time. For Fast food lovers...KFC across Malabar Plaza hotel. Just perfect for everyone. 3. I stayed for 2 weeks and the management and staff have been so kind and made my stay a lovely one. For a single woman traveling....i felt safe and well served. 4. 8 mins walk to fishing folk area and Marina beach getting upclose with their livelihood. If you want to go to the tourist side of Marina beach...just hop on a bus...and if it is pink..it is FREE for lady passengers. 5. Easy access to the airport so ...traffic issues is not a major problem 6. International ATM access ...yes ..i think there was four banks at walking distance. I would definitely come back and stay here.

It is a very bad experience. We were in dark for 4-5 hrs without light and fan during 40 degree temperature. There is no power back up for hotel. No drinking water nothing is available. Please avoid this hotel.
