A truly wonderful spot! It's incredibly romantic and cozy, and the food is absolutely excellent. The large, beautiful park is a huge bonus.

"A very comfortable stay in a beautiful heritage castle."

The castle hotel was very clean and beautiful. The grounds around the castle were very extensive and a delight to walk around. The young man waiter - was top drawer he was friendly, spoke English well and stayed after to serve us when our arrival was delayed. The front desk was helpful as needed.

Breakfast could have been better. Eggs - meh.

The property is amazing, with its big garden and outside swimming pool. The main building is beautiful with its ball room, the chapel and the bar, and generally well maintained. The spa looks great (only tried a massage that I can only recommend) The restaurant is nice with a big terrace for the warm days. Food is good and nicely served. Staff are welcoming and willing to help - maybe a few more people would be nice but I guess due to low season, the number of staff was reduced and a bit low compared to the size of the hotel. All in all we had an amazing stay!

As said the building is well maintained but the one thing I would change are the tired carpet in the rooms.
