Be CAREFULL. DON'T GET CHEATED. The price in BOOKING.COM is not the same. YOU wil be asked to pay HIGHER... They only said that the price in booking.com is INVALID. that was a hot day, and they totally made me upset!!! I cancel the Booking

Clean bedding, well working wifi, location, price.

This should be warning to all travellers who are considering to stay at this “homestay” as this was literally the worst place I’ve ever spent a night while travelling. I came about two hours before check in time and was told that room is not ready yet. Boy at the “reception” said it’s gonna be ready in 2-3 hours. I left my backpack there which he was okay with and went to the city. After 3 hours when I came back the check in was possible. Boy tried to charge me more than my booking.com price was which I’ve strongly refused. Whole conversation was managed via google translate as he didn’t speak any english. And the room… room was absolutelly disgusting, filthy as, walls dirty, cobwebs everywhere, layers of dust, mirror broken, cigarette butt and ash in the corner under the chair, hot as in hell and one noisy fan. Bathroom was even “better” - totally filthy, toilet dirty, mould on the wall and door, some old soaps and packagings leftovers and strong sewage smell filling whole appartment on the top - like a cherry on the cake. Doors are paper-thin so forget any quietness. Overally I would say good in current conditions maybe as a shed for some animals… No one did the clean up there for ages, so I was only laughing to the poor guys words that the room wasn’t ready when I came first. What a good joke! I should have been selfwarned by the very low price… Lesson learned. Very few pros mentioned above. The only reason why I stayed and didn’t leave the place was my early morning train and convenient location to get reasonably fast to the train station. This is not written under any emotions, it´s just facts and you can see it in the pics. I can’t upload them all as only 4 are allowed and they don’t do a justice anyway - reality is worse. Their promo pics must be from another place. Please: do yourself a favour and do not stay at this place unless you are absolutelly desperate. It´s not worth!

The owner of SPOT ON 90780 Gang Tengah Homestay Syariah, Theo, did not honour the price listed in Booking.com. He threatened to cancel our reservation if we didn't pay the difference between his posted price and the price we paid through Booking.com

It was in a quiet area in China town near to many restaurants.

Almost half of the room was wet that's why was smelly.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull
