Very disappointing – not worth 4 stars I honestly have no idea how this hotel received a 4-star rating. In my opinion, it doesn’t even deserve one. It felt like time had stood still here. The room was not clean at all – I’m pretty sure the area behind the bed had never been cleaned. The bathroom was extremely basic and impractical: when you took a shower, the entire toilet got wet, and there was no hot water. Everything felt dirty, and I didn’t dare touch anything. Thankfully, we only stayed one night for the Bromo volcano tour and had to leave at 1:30 AM. Still, I didn’t sleep at all because of the constant noise from the jeeps passing by all night for the tours. Judging by other reviews in the area, it seems this is a common issue with hotels around Bromo. But I definitely would not recommend this one.
