Silver Fern Beach Retreat

Pool next to beach!

We had a family room with 2 bedrooms for 4 persons in total, hotel and garden were nice, breakfast good. the kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the beach is just in front of the hotel for those who want to do snorkling.

Hôtel qui en impose avec sa grande entrée et sa piscine qui donne sur la mer. Tres beau jardin Les espaces communs exterieurs très agréables. Proprietaire ( ou jardinier?) sympathique drôle et aidant. L'équipe à la cuisine adorable. Chambre spacieuse avec balcon (vue sur mer) frigo et bouilloire. Très bonne litterie

Petit dej pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre et manque criant de fruits! Hotel assez loin de tout, si on n''est pas motorisé on est un peu "coincé " là et on dépend exclusivement des infrastructures de l'hôtel ( notamment resto) Le resto est beaucoup plus cher qu'ailleurs. La mer a un aspect vraiment très bizarre en face de l' hotel et ne donne pas envie de se baigner (pourtant d'habitude je me baigne partout!!). Donc ne pas choisir cet hôtel pour lézarder à la plage. La salle de bain mériterait une rénovation et une dalle de sol de la chambre est décollée et bouge qd on marche dessus. Mais malgre tout ceci, cet hotel est un endroit tres agréable.

Our stay at Silver fern was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is owned by a kiwi named Roy and he has it really well set up with fantastic ocean views, an infinity pool, restaurant, bar and massage. One evening we had a bbq and the vibe was great. The hotel organised our snorkelling trip and the boat picked us up from the hotel. The rooms were large, clean with good en -suite and balcony with ocean views. A large fridge, complimentary kettle, tea and coffee was in the room. Filtered water was available for free to guests. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed luxurious holiday.
