"Bathroom blues"

Great location in centre of town. Room was good but had extension leads for Tv and hairdryer in room. The shower was far too narrow because of rail . And mixer taps were a bit “vintage “ . Sth room needs updating. Bar food for lunch was good. But main dining room was closed the night we had dinner . Do dinner had to be in the bar too. Staff were superb and great service. I would return if room was updated with walk-in shower.

The hotel staff are friendly, courteous, the hotel is clean and has a really nice ambiance. The live music in the Bar was superb too. There was a little discrpancy about whether breakfast was included or not but this was sorted really quickly too.

The bed was too soft for my liking so didn't sleep as well as I hoped and for two of the days the Breakfast was warm but not piping hot and took ages to arrive.

Location

No one available after 9p and not before we left at 7a. The door was left open so anyone could walk into the hotel. The TV didn’t have any channels to watch other than streaming services and we didn’t feel comfortable using our own accounts. We did enjoy the location, as it was close to many amenities and the town centre.
