Amun and Suresh could not have been more helpful. The location was only 5 minutes walk to the Golden Temple and all attractions were easy to walk to. They organised a taxi to take us to the border ceremony and got up at 4.30am so that we could check out. Wi-Fi was excellent - the best we had in India. shower was hot which has not been the case in all hotels we have stayed in.

There was no restaurant although the simple breakfast was brought to our room by a smiling Suresh. A great way to start the day.

location is good to go to the temple but cars cannot pass the street and the stairs

The hotel staff was extremely helpful specially Subhash. We being only girls were treated with utmost care. From helping us with our luggage till we left the hotel in the evening next day our stay was amazing.

Just a lil sad tat we could not extend our stay for the next day as all rooms were booked but nevertheless we were given a place to keep our bags till we could board our train in the evening. We were taken care of till we left the hotel in the evening.

Neat and clean, The Staff was very courteous and helpful especially Subhash. Always on toes to help the guests...the tea he makes was awesome...

1. Difficult to locate. 2. No entry for cabs. Only e rikshaws 3. No in-house food facilities. They order from outside restaurant/ food joints and serve. For breakfast only butter toast available in-house. Rest procured fm outside that too time bound.. after 9.30 - 10 am.. 4. No lift. Difficult to climb up stairs especially for people with knee problems. 5. When u remove curtain of the window, u come across filthy toilets and the broken. Debris/junkyard of the building in front...really bad to see early in the morning when u are hoping to see sunrise / Greenery. .

We checked in and a room was allocated to us As soon as we walked into the room, we noticed that we were given a double room instead of the triple room that we had booked online and paid upon arrival. When we pointed out this to the staff, we were given excuses like 1- "You were only two so you were given a double bedroom" 2- " A triple room was not available" 3- " The triple room was on the next floor up so we thought you had to walk up an extra floor" We pointed out that these things should have told at the time when we were checking in. Why the staff kept quite and didn't say anything till we pointed out the difference to them. The staff should have been straight to us at the time of checking in for whatever reason a triple bedroom was not available. When the staff saw that we were nor happy with what they had done, they tried to re- negotiate the price. We were told that if we liked the double room, they could refund us 700 rupees. Then we were told that it would be a little while for a triple room to be cleaned and be ready for us. After 20 minutes or so a triple bedroom was ready for us Watch out for what you book online and what you are actually allocated.
