Hotel Aashish Deluxe Pet Friendly

Official trip. Talked to two guys at the reception who were completely whacked out. Had no manners and were justifying their rage on the premise that the staff were overworked. The room was good and the food was terrible (although in their defence they were sourcing it from outside)

I had a spontaneous road trip to Kolhapur from Pune with no advance planning with my parents and 2 sisters. We reached Kolhapur in the evening and had darshan of Kolhapur Devi and dinner at Dehati Restaurant. By the time we were done it was already close to 12 midnight and we needed a place to crash. Thanks to TripAdvisor, we got the address to Hotel Aashish. The place is OK but plz opt for Deluxe rooms as the name of the hotel itself suggests. Its in a gully (alley) and the reception area is good but the rooms are not that excellent. But for the price you pay, they are good and cheap places to crash especially if you plan to stay for only 6 to 8 hours, freshen up in the morning and leave. Also they don't have their own parking so you have to park your car in paid parking area.

The cheap rooms are very dirty and small. Please don't opt for them instead go for delux rooms. They have common parking which you get based on luck else need to park on the main road with parking charge.Although facilities are there nearby but this hotel is not suitable for family's with kids.
