The family running the place was incredibly nice and accommodating.

For the price this place was a steal. Also stayed at Nival which my boast amenities but Margado was sincere and accommodating at less than 1/2 the price of Nival.

Absolutamente todo, cuidado al detalle, te sientes como en casa. Es precioso, la familia que lo regenta amabilísima, nos recogieron en el puerto y nos llevaron el día de nuestro ferry. Las camas comodisimas, la habitación amplia y renovada, con unas vistas espectaculares a la bahía. Tiene una piscina preciosa, El desayuno exquisito y tan abundante como necesites. Ojalá habernos quedado aquí más noches!

Yes it’s a steep hill up and good exercise after eating dinner .

Had an absolutely lovely stay! Was picked up from the ferry and it’s a quick 2 minute trip up the hill. I had just missed breakfast when I arrived but they were kind enough to offer me refreshments. The breakfast spread is served pool side and the pool and views are wonderful. Freshly squeezing orange juice was a highlight. My room was clean and beautiful and comfortable, with a private balcony and an incredible view. The walk into town is definitely a work out but easy to navigate. The beach is nice and the chairs are free! Great mix of locals and tourists. The little town has lots of restaurant options and cute shops. Taking the bus was very easy, though the bus schedules aren’t synchronized so that can be tricky. The family were lovely hosts, always very welcoming and accommodating. I felt like I was part of the family.

There’s really nothing negative to say! Just that the location is at the top of the hill so it’s not the place for you if you have trouble walking and/or don’t have a car.

Petit hôtel familial d’une dizaine de chambres, en hauteur au dessus du port de Kamares. Accessible à pied depuis le port en 10/15 mn mais avec un fort dénivelé. Un véhicule est préférable, un transfert peut être organisé avec l’hôtel. Parking privé pour votre voiture de location. Accueil chaleureux (et francophone). Petite chambre très propre. Certaines avec vue sur la mer et la baie de Kamares. Calme. Depuis la rue devant l’hotel, escaliers pour atteindre la réception ou la zone piscine/petit déjeuner. Pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite. Très beau buffet de petit déjeuner, produits frais, oranges à presser. Petite piscine avec un nombre limité de transat. Un bel endroit pour rayonner à Sifnos.
