We’ve been taken GREAT care of from the moment we arrived until checkin-out. Thank you Eleni for being so caring, thank you Mr Dimitris for the unforgetable surprise and the rest of the staff who were so nice to us. The view is a dream. We loved the architecture and style. a quite place perfect the recharge your batteries and also only about 15mins car ride from Chora.

Het hotel heeft een prachtig uitzicht over eiland en zee, maar voldoet totaal niet aan wat je van een 5-sterrenhotel mag verwachten. De kamer was klein, met een kast van één plank en een piepkleine badkamer waarvan de douche alles nat maakte. De jacuzzi op het balkon was vies, met troebel water en vuil. Schoonmaakpersoneel was onvriendelijk; ons verzoek om later terug te komen werd met “nee” en “waarom” afgewezen. Het zwembad ligt mooi, maar is klein en er zijn weinig ligbedden. Het ontbijt was zeer beperkt, zeker voor een 5-sterrenhotel: weinig keuze en wat er lag oogde niet vers, oud brood, taaie croissants en cake van de dag ervoor. De manager/eigenaar begroette niemand, wat een onvriendelijke en ongeïnteresseerde indruk gaf. Dit alles is absoluut niet wat je mag verwachten van een 5-sterrenhotel en komt niet overeen met wat Collini wilt uitstralen, zeker niet voor de prijs die gasten betalen. Beschrijving en foto’s komen schetsen een ander beeld dan de werkelijkheid. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor ons…

We loved enjoyed the comfort of the room the most. After travelling Europe for sometime, it was finally nice to have a plush comforter and softer mattress. The room was as well equipped with everything we needed- nespresso, mini fridge etc. You could tell the everything was of high quality including Grown Alchemist product. We liked the gym and the view from the main pool.

The sink in the bathroom was a little awkward in how tall and deep it was. There wasn’t a lot of space to store toiletries neatly out of sight. The bathroom felt like an extension of the bedroom. We had a room with a “private” pool but it was located on a path\walkway often used by hotel staff and guests, so we did lack privacy and were sometimes taken by surprise when staff entered our room to restock the mini fridge. We were also charged for items we didn’t consume which we later had to clear with the hotel. They didn’t believe us so they had a staff memeber “make sure” the items were still in our room at check out. Breakfast- for the price paid, the buffet was very disappointing. Despite them offering to make fresh scrambled or fried eggs, we were left wanting more variety. It was the same every morning and it seemed lacking for a hotel this expensive. Basic fruits, yogurt, cereal, breads and cakes. I would hope for more fresh veggies, cold cuts, olives, dips etc. One morning we came at 10:10 (breakfast ends at 10:30) and most of the food was gone ex. no more hard boiled eggs, cucumber, or fresh bread and the staff didn’t replenish anything for us. The best thing about the breakfast the espresso fredo. Last thing- people seemed to stake out and hog the limited seating at the main pool from early morning til sunset. It seems the same guests just parked themselves there for the two days we were there, not not allowing others to enjoy the pool with the view. I know this isn’t the hotels problem, but something to consider if you choose to stay here. Get to the pool early to “reserve your day bed”.

Our stay was perfect in every way. The sea view was stunning, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly. A special thank you to the manager, who made sure all our requests were met. We felt truly welcome and can’t wait to come back! “Everything exceeded our expectations.”
