Posada Maya

One of the best places where I stayed in Guatemala. First of all thanks to the welcoming and very helpful who do their best to offer you a wonderful time in Antigua. Rooms are very clean and cosy, bed is comfortable and very cmean bathroom with nice hot shower. A few minutes walk from Antigua's old town and main places to visit. The market is just at the corner where you can buy fresh fruits. A place that I highly recommend and where I would be happy to come back.

Cleanliness seem well taken care of. Man at posada was constantly cleaning up the toilets and space. There is no stench in toilets, unlike in the toilets kf most other posadas in the region. Wifi was so great I could have video calls. Although location is slightly off-town on a 15 minutes walk, price is probably the best you can get for Antigua.

It is very strange why there is not even a small fan placed in the single sized rooms. A very basic essential for comfort. I asked if I could upgrade but was told all single sized rooms did not have fans. The warmth plus mosquitoes in the room on my last night made it hard to fall asleep.

I'd like the place, the room, the cleaness.

I didn't like when a man started to talk to the phone at midnight, screaming, then went to the door ringing the bell like it was the only guest and the owner just woke up to talk like it wasn't midnight and didn't say anything about the amount of rumors he was do it. And I didn't like that the owner didn't explaing anything about the city and when I asked something she just didn't know about any kind of suggestion.

The ratio price vs quality - not the best,

No hot water, far from the center, weak wifi, no ventilation in the room

I was very lucky to get a reasonably-priced room here during Semana Santa. It is quite basic, but completely adequate. It felt safe and my room was clean. Bathrooms are shared, but well maintained. Internet was good. There is an outdoor space on the rooftop.

Rooms open out onto the main hallway, with no natural daylight from outside. Additionally, there was no fan in my room, so it was quite hot and stuffy.

The staff is very nice and very helpful. The place is very clean !

Bathrooms modern and clean, can do your laundry for 25Q, upstairs sun terrace with table.

15 minute walk to town, noise from the road is quite loud early in the morning.
