Hotel Korona

It's not in a busy area of Siofok, Balaton.

No kettle in the room. No pool view despite reception telling us we have a room with a pool view. Photo attached. There is no fitted sheet on mattresses, sheet is not wide enough to cover the mattress. We always wake up sleeping on the bed mattress itself. Photo attached. No soap on the sink for hand-wash, requested this 2x. Exactly the same breakfast was served for the 3 days we stayed. No lift, carry your own luggage on the stairs. No one offered help. No hairdryer. Foreign tax payment was mentioned only at check out. No weighing scale to weigh luggages. No heated swimming pool for both adult and children pool. The sun didn't warm the water, everyone who tried using the pool came out freezing.

Felújított emeleten, családi szobában voltunk. A ***-hoz képest felsőbb kategóriát képvisel mind a tisztaság, berendezés, mind a személyzet, étterem tekintetében. Az ágy nagyon kényelmes volt, a fürdőszoba nagyon ízléses és praktikus.Az óriás fenyőkkel tarkított kert hegyvidéki hangulatot kölcsönöz, a medencék partján lévő napozóágyak nagyon kényelmesek. Kisebb gyerekkel remek választás; van játszószoba, szabadtéri játszótér, kismotorok, pingpong asztal, a lobbiban csocsó, biliárd, nagy képernyős tv. A Balaton 2perc séta, az ingyenes Újhelyi strand nagyon szuper! Az egész szállodára a közvetlenség jellemző, a személyzet nagyon kedves és látszik, hogy szívvel-lélekkel végzik a munkájukat, de a vendégek is nyitottak egymásra. Teljesen olyan érzésem volt, mintha gyerekkorom céges üdüléseit éltem volna újra a lehető legjobb értelemben véve, csak felnőttként és közel ****-os minőségben. A szobában van a hűtő, ezt éjszakára kihúztuk, mert zavart a búgása. De ez az egyetlen,amit említeni tudok.

Many thanks to the staff of the hotel. We have booked another hotel in the area and arrived there late in the night, only to figure out that the place is complete mess, with lots of bugs, dirty etc. So in the night we have to start looking for another place to stay and Hotel Korona saved us.

A well organized hotel. It is close to the lake. They have a private and secure car park. The room has a balcony.

The bathroom might be a little larger. Room key might be better than a weighted key chain.
