Mad about Coco Yoga & Beach Retreat

Lovely retreat a few steps from the cliff in Varkala. The staff were very helpful even though we arrived late. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with big bathrooms, and there’s plenty of shady hangout areas around the hotel. We loved the included breakfast at the cafe next door.

The hotel’s yoga teacher has left, so there is currently no yoga which is a shame, although it’s easy to find and join classes around Varkala.

Really helpful staff, who were informative and knowledgeable. Great location, away from the hustle. Clean and very chilled.

Both Anita and Samuel have been very helpful and all the staff is very nice. The location is great and the food next door is good.

Location is the best part of staying here. You are right on the beautiful cliff and beach. The breakfast at the restaurant next door is also very nice. Yoga on the top deck of the building (for an extra charge) was also appreciated.

They will ask you to pay for the whole accommodation up front (which is fine) but I had a very hard time getting confirmation of payment. I had to follow up for weeks before I got a response. Once we arrived at the property, everything was fine.

Resort was very close to varkala cliff and beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Good vibe. Helpful staff.

Samuel was more than accommodating. He waited up for our very late arrival and made sure we felt welcome. The rooms were very clean and comfy and cool. The breakfast at the restaurant next door was some of the nicest food we had in India so far. The rooftop yoga was also great (and challenging for us) Samuel helped with any question we had and helped to book taxis and accommodate our departure time. I also think it was the best location in town.

Perfect location on the cliff and just in a peaceful and quiet garden. Nice spacious clean room and bathroom. Great to chill on the balcony! Lovely delicious food at the restaurant Sun Francisco and very friendly staff - Samuel and Anthony. They also arranged for our pick up and drop off at the airport. Thank you for a great stay!

Nothing to report. Looking forward to go back to Varkala

Beautiful place with an amazing vibe! Comfy hangout areas, free water and tea, delicious restaurant overlooking the sea and walking distance from the beach.
