Odiyana Bali Retreat

The location and facilities were good. The place is beautiful and has so much potential.. if only privacy and quiet was honoured. I wish it would be, so that I can go back.

The first night between around 10:30pm and 11:30pm the staff & friends started playing pool on the pool table, which is right behind the room I was trying to sleep in. I waited and hoped and it did not stop, so I had to get out of bed and leave the room to go ask them to stop. I got a massage, and right behind where they do it, there was extremely loud construction happening on the property - I had to stop and go get my earphones to just help it be manageable. Also, in the afternoon when I was doing yoga, a lady that was part of the team doing construction on the property.. walked by and stopped to stand and look at me right behind the plant next to me.. I had to stop and ask her "are you looking at me?" And she laughed and said yes, so when I asked her not to, she got upset with me and walked away. One thing that accommodations need to understand when they want to do this business is that guests pay, to relax, feel comfortable, and unwind in privacy and quiet.

Odiyana offers high value for a comparably low prize. Yes, of course it is not that close to the coast, therefore it offers an amazing view, both from the hot tub and even more so from the upper floor. Morning Yoga (mats are provided for free) with such a view is just amazing. The breakfast was one of the best included breakfasts we had so far in this price range - the omelette is done with vegetables and not just eggs. The pancakes are fluffy. The french toast comes with cheese, which might sound weird at first, but is actually really delicious and gives a little extra energy for the day. Overall, we were really happy with our stay. Especially the hot tub is just amazing. We spent two evenings just hanging out in the tub and watching stars.

There are no real downsides. The location might be one, if you don't have your own vehicle. But even then, the staff will pick you up and drop you off and organize drivers for activities. The size of the rooms is fine, we had bigger, but it's totally ok. Especially since the whole upper floor of the main building can be used for Yoga/Dancing/Training, or whatever you want to do there.

Very nice accomodation surrounded by a beautiful garden, pool area, winyard and banana trees. Just an amazing place to relax.

Without transport access is not easy.

Our favourite accomodation in Bali) All is perfect. Wifi is good, kitchen is good and affordable, amazing facilities , place for yoga, amazing sunsets in the swimming pool or from the yoga space)

Narrow Road to location through villages. But it is manageable)

The staff is extremely friendly, the hotel is very pleasant, and the food is excellent. We absolutely loved staying at this place.
