It has a very homely environment, clean linen, and courteous staff. The manager, Mr Ternece was very approachable and helped in my travel plans. There was a tour guide on a heritage walk with handy information. The building gives an opportunity to know about Goa and Portugues historical linkages

The hotel is in a very central position and close too main attractions in Panjim. The hotel has a nice interior design with its history and its own spirit. The owner was extremely helpful and nice: he gave us many useful recommendations, helped with everything we asked (from taxi to restaurant suggestions even outside of Panjim). He also helped us very much with getting a SIM card, which apparently is very difficult for foreigners, because you need at least 2 local numbers to do it. We are super thankful to him for all this help.

We arrived to the hotel at 11 pm on the 1st of January. The moment we saw our building I wanted to leave immediately, because of how many drunk and homeless people were sitting or sleeping by the entrance. It did not feel safe at all. However, the day after they disappeared and we were never disturbed by that (although we always were returning to the hotel much earlier than 11 pm). After all, it was ok, but the first impression was scary. While I was ok with the mattress, my partner felt very uncomfortable. One more thing that could be improved is the reception boys’ English. They were very very helpful and nice, but it was very hard to communicate with them. Overall, the owner of the place made our stay very nice and comfortable, which made the whole experience much better no matter what.

Close to amenities & clean. The staff were very helpful.

No refrigerator, crockery or microwave provided in the room. We had to use the common fridge, microwave and crockery. Sadly it was not worth the money I paid for the room.

This location was very handy..........

I was very surprised to wake up on the next morning at around 5m to find someone attempting to open the door to our room........I had to use both dead bolts to prevent this from happening.

Loved the room which was large and comfortable. Great aircon and fans, all very clean. Bed was comfortable and quality of linen and towels was good and bathroom was good with easy to control hot water. Although central it was really a very quiet area and so easy to walk everywhere. Terrence was super to communicate with and helped planning our stay to get the best out of the days we were in Panjim. Although there is no restaurant at the hotel, it was nice to have the kettle in the room and they found us a fridge for our beer. Lots of helpful info too to find some great nearby places for breakfast with the locals.

Good spacious room

Owner kept asking for advance payment and payment on arrival which was not mentioned on booking.com and thus created additional problems.

Beautiful, interesting decorations in the room with antique stuff! Location is just in the city center but not very noisy at night.

Room didn't look the same as on the photo. Older bed and no couch at all. I would recommend to place all rooms separate with the original photos and description, because some people expect to see at least smth very similar of what they booked and not to choose what it's left when they come. For this price you want to get what you see. I was pretty sad but overall the staff and hotel itself is very nice
