Location is perfect. Hotel is in the big street which is the heart of kumbakonam Town. 50 metres to flower market and 200 metres away from kumbheshwar temple. Second good thing is food. Anandha bhavan is right in the ground floor of the hotel. Also in 200 metres there is famous mangalambika restaurant.

1. Room cleanliness was very poor. I booked a balcony room, but the balcony was not cleaned at all. I couldn’t even step outside because the floor was covered with bird droppings. 2. Bed and linens were not in good condition. The bed felt rough, as if the cotton bedsheets were very old. It was clear the hotel hadn’t replaced them. I also noticed visible dirt on the sheets. 3. Unprofessional staff behavior. We checked in early in the morning, and the reception staff on night duty asked inappropriate questions that made me uncomfortable. This issue seems specific to the night-shift staff, as we did not face such behavior with the daytime staff.
